We are a small home breeding household in Delhi NCR. We breed three things and nothing else: Standard Poodles, Toy Poodles and Goldendoodles — including F1B golden doodle litters and Parti coats. Puppies are raised underfoot in our home rather than in runs, and we place them with families across India, Chandigarh included.
If you asked us to name the best Indian city for a Standard Poodle, Chandigarh would be near the top of the list.
The climate is the mildest of any north Indian city we deliver to. Summers are hot but shorter than Delhi's and the air quality is dramatically better — you will rarely lose walks to smog the way Delhi owners do from October to January. Winters are properly cool, which a full-coated Poodle loves. The monsoon is manageable.
The other advantage is built into the city. Chandigarh was planned with green space in every sector, so a long daily walk is genuinely available rather than something you drive to find. For a breed that needs one proper walk a day and something to think about, that matters more than most buyers realise.
Sector houses with gardens, and the newer developments in Mohali and Panchkula, both suit a large dog comfortably. Sukhna Lake and the Rock Garden surrounds are the walks people here mention, and the sector parks mean most owners have something green within a few minutes.
Chandigarh is roughly five hours by road from Delhi NCR, so we usually drive the puppy to you rather than fly it. No airport, no crate, no hold time. We hand over at your door with the vet certificate, vaccination card and papers, and stay long enough to answer your questions properly.
Whatever we have available genuinely exists and is listed on our available puppies page. If a litter is not on that page, we do not have it — we would rather tell you when one is due than take a deposit against a dog that is not born.
Vet health certificate, complete vaccination record and deworming history, and registration papers where the breed carries them.
In person in Delhi NCR, or on an unedited live video call if Chandigarh makes a visit impractical. We will not place a puppy with someone who has not seen its mother.
Call us in two years and we will still pick up. Grooming, feeding, training, or just to send us a photo. That is the point of buying from a breeder.

Both breeds need professional grooming every six to eight weeks for life. Find someone in Chandigarh who can actually clip a Poodle coat before the puppy arrives, not after.
Pressure to pay today, or a puppy available immediately in any colour you name, are both warning signs. Good litters have waiting lists.
It is one of the best in India, in our view. Milder summers than Delhi, far better air quality, proper cool winters that a full coat enjoys, and green space built into every sector so a long daily walk is easy to find.
Yes, and usually by road. It is about five hours from Delhi NCR, so we drive the puppy to your door rather than putting it through an airport. That is easier on a young puppy and lets us spend proper time with you at handover.
Far less than in Delhi. Chandigarh owners rarely have to cut walks short for smog, which through October to January is a real and recurring problem in the NCR. It is one of the genuine advantages of the city for an active breed.
