Goldendoodle & Poodle puppies in Kochi.

Raised in our home in Delhi NCR and delivered to Kochi in person. Below is what Kochi’s weather and housing actually mean for a curly-coated dog — written for this city, not copied from another one.

Standard Poodle, Toy Poodle and Goldendoodle puppies in Kochi

We are a small home breeding household in Delhi NCR. We breed three things and nothing else: Standard Poodles, Toy Poodles and Goldendoodles — including F1B golden doodle litters and Parti coats. Puppies are raised underfoot in our home rather than in runs, and we place them with families across India, Kochi included.

What Kochi's climate means for a curly coat

We are going to be honest rather than persuasive here, because Kochi is the hardest city in India for a curly-coated dog and you deserve to know that before you pay anyone a deposit.

Kerala gets two monsoons. Humidity sits high essentially all year rather than for a season. For a Poodle or Goldendoodle coat, that means moisture held against the skin almost permanently — which is the exact condition that produces matting, hot spots and recurring ear infections.

It is entirely doable, and we have placed dogs into Kerala homes that are thriving. But it needs a specific commitment: a genuinely short clip kept year-round rather than seasonally, thorough drying every single time the dog gets wet, ears checked and dried weekly, and a groomer you see every six weeks without fail. If that sounds like more than you want to take on, we would rather tell you now.

For Kochi we usually steer buyers towards a F1 Goldendoodle over the curlier F1B, or a Toy Poodle where a smaller coat is simply less to manage.

Homes and walking in Kochi

Apartments in Kakkanad, Edappally and around Marine Drive are where most Kochi enquiries come from. Space is rarely the constraint; the climate is. Walks work best early morning, and covered or shaded routes matter during the long rains.

Getting your puppy to Kochi

Kochi is roughly a three-hour flight from Delhi. The puppy travels accompanied by someone from us, never alone in cargo, with updates the whole way. We hand over in person with the vet certificate, vaccination card and papers.

Whatever we have available genuinely exists and is listed on our available puppies page. If a litter is not on that page, we do not have it — we would rather tell you when one is due than take a deposit against a dog that is not born.

What comes with every puppy

Health and papers

Vet health certificate, complete vaccination record and deworming history, and registration papers where the breed carries them.

Meet the mother

In person in Delhi NCR, or on an unedited live video call if Kochi makes a visit impractical. We will not place a puppy with someone who has not seen its mother.

Support afterwards

Call us in two years and we will still pick up. Grooming, feeding, training, or just to send us a photo. That is the point of buying from a breeder.

Prices are published in full on our price guide, by tier and city. They do not change based on how keen you sound on the phone.

Before you buy a puppy in Kochi

This applies whether you buy from us or from anyone else, and we mean it.

Insist on seeing the mother

In person or on live video. A seller who will not show you the dam with the litter is hiding something. Watch how she is around people.

Ask what the papers actually are

A Goldendoodle is a crossbreed and does not carry KCI registration. Anyone selling you KCI papers for one is selling you something that does not exist. More on this →

Find your groomer first

Both breeds need professional grooming every six to eight weeks for life. Find someone in Kochi who can actually clip a Poodle coat before the puppy arrives, not after.

Be wary of speed

Pressure to pay today, or a puppy available immediately in any colour you name, are both warning signs. Good litters have waiting lists.

Frequently asked questions

Can a Goldendoodle live comfortably in Kochi?

Yes, but it asks more of you than almost anywhere else in India. Kerala's year-round humidity and two monsoons mean a curly coat is permanently at risk of matting and ear trouble. Kept in a short clip year-round, dried thoroughly every time it gets wet, and groomed every six weeks, these dogs do very well. Without that routine they struggle.

Which breed or generation do you recommend for Kerala?

An F1 Goldendoodle over the curlier F1B, or a Toy Poodle where a smaller coat is simply less to manage. We would rather place the dog that suits your climate than the one that is most in demand.

Do you deliver puppies to Kochi and elsewhere in Kerala?

Yes. Kochi is about a three-hour flight from Delhi NCR and the puppy travels accompanied, never alone in cargo. We deliver across Kerala from there.

Are ear infections really a problem in Kerala?

They are the single most common issue we hear about from coastal owners. A drop-eared dog with a curly coat in permanent humidity holds moisture in the ear canal. Weekly checks and proper drying after every wet walk prevent most of it.
