Raised in our home in Delhi NCR and delivered to Lucknow in person. Below is what Lucknow’s weather and housing actually mean for a curly-coated dog — written for this city, not copied from another one.
We are a small home breeding household in Delhi NCR. We breed three things and nothing else: Standard Poodles, Toy Poodles and Goldendoodles — including F1B golden doodle litters and Parti coats. Puppies are raised underfoot in our home rather than in runs, and we place them with families across India, Lucknow included.
Lucknow's year looks a lot like Delhi's, with the edges taken off. Summers are hot, into the low 40s through May and June. The monsoon brings more humidity than Delhi gets, which means a little more attention to drying the coat and checking ears from July to September. Winters are cool and comfortable, and air quality, while not clean, is generally less severe than the NCR at its worst.
Practically: walk before 7am and after sunset from April to September, keep the coat in a shorter clip through the monsoon, and dry the dog properly after wet walks rather than letting it air-dry in a humid room.
Gomti Nagar and the newer developments are where most of our Lucknow enquiries come from — larger flats and independent houses that suit a Standard Poodle. The older parts of the city run to smaller homes where a Toy Poodle is the more sensible fit. Janeshwar Mishra Park and the Gomti riverfront are the walking routes owners mention.
Lucknow is about six hours by road from Delhi NCR, so road delivery is usually possible and is what we prefer for a young puppy. Where flying makes more sense the puppy travels accompanied, never alone in cargo. Either way we hand over in person with the vaccination card and vet certificate.
Whatever we have available genuinely exists and is listed on our available puppies page. If a litter is not on that page, we do not have it — we would rather tell you when one is due than take a deposit against a dog that is not born.
Vet health certificate, complete vaccination record and deworming history, and registration papers where the breed carries them.
In person in Delhi NCR, or on an unedited live video call if Lucknow makes a visit impractical. We will not place a puppy with someone who has not seen its mother.
Call us in two years and we will still pick up. Grooming, feeding, training, or just to send us a photo. That is the point of buying from a breeder.
Prices are published in full on our price guide, by tier and city. They do not change based on how keen you sound on the phone.
This applies whether you buy from us or from anyone else, and we mean it.
In person or on live video. A seller who will not show you the dam with the litter is hiding something. Watch how she is around people.
A Goldendoodle is a crossbreed and does not carry KCI registration. Anyone selling you KCI papers for one is selling you something that does not exist. More on this →
Both breeds need professional grooming every six to eight weeks for life. Find someone in Lucknow who can actually clip a Poodle coat before the puppy arrives, not after.
Pressure to pay today, or a puppy available immediately in any colour you name, are both warning signs. Good litters have waiting lists.
Yes. Lucknow is around six hours by road from Delhi NCR so we can often drive the puppy to you, which is easier on a young dog than flying. Handover is in person with full documentation.
Manageable. Summers are hot and the monsoon is more humid than Delhi's, so a shorter clip from June to September and proper drying after wet walks are the two things that matter. Winters are comfortable.
The same ranges we publish for everywhere else, on our price guide. We publish openly rather than quoting a number on the phone that depends on how keen you sound.
Yes. Many buyers do a live video call with the mother and litter before committing, and you are always welcome to come to Delhi NCR and meet them in person.
